BEATS: Daft Punk is Alive in 2007

Robot rockers Daft Punk the somewhat cult French disco-house producers are back with a new album, Alive 2007. Daft Punk is currently presenting a live show involving a LED light show, the duo in robot suits and a whole load of daft funky music.

With Rapture opening for them, they presented this two hour audio-visual show with this 40 feet LED lit pyramid and a continuous string of their past hits at The Wireless Festival at Corny Island NYC in August. Easy!

Daft Punk Alive 2007, a two-disc set documenting the electro-house outfit’s first hometown show in ten years, set to drop stateside Nov. 20. The live release, filmed at Paris’ Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy June 14, 2007, will also arrive with a 50-page digi-book showcasing photographs shot while on tour.
